and i got more than i thought i would out of the slate stuff. i had to keep my hands off of other eq an compression plugs.

i entered a mix contest just to play around with a mix using the VMS and it's plugs and i'm happy. Stevenlol i have no clue why one would find it difficult its the same as automating a reg plug. If there is a way for us to improve it, we definitely will! I haven't had much experience with the VMR on control surfaces other than our own, but I'll be getting a few hardware control surfaces to see how it functions with the VMR automation. Is this really what you would consider unusable? Do you really need to write the whole matrix, why not just look at the parameter that you want to automate and just go for it! :D Hit the letter, see it's B-1, then automate B-1 in the DAW. Then you want to automate the gain of the Trim in slot 2. You hit the slot letter, see that it's A-2, then you choose A-2 in the DAW and automate away. Say you want to automate the high frequency gain of the FG-N. I'm a bit confused though because the VMR automation system is really easy and straightforward. So yeah.make sure you download the newest versions at If one has, I missed it!Įdit: I just updated all of the plugins to the latest versions. I wish an e-mail notification about that change would have been sent out. I went to the old page and the installers are outdated compared to Everything Bundle Installers - Slate Digital. They fixed it but it used to take a few seconds to load Amplitube at one point in time. I remember the same plugin used to happen with IK Multimedia's Amplitube 3 because it became bloated.

I'm not sure if the Mac installer has the custom install feature. They won't show up in VMR and therefore won't load into RAM/get checked by the iLok.

Then run the VMR Complete installer, choose Custom installation (click Full installation to pop up the drop down menu) on the second page and uncheck the boxes for the individual rack plugins that you don't want. If you don't it will give error messages that the version is mismatched inside of the plugin.

How do you remove plugins you don't use? I'm not sure I'd do that.but it'd be cool to know how to do it!Assuming you use Windows, first uninstall the VMR Complete Bundle.
